Polysilicon, is used as a raw material by the solar photovoltaic and electronics industry. Produced from metallurgical grade silicon by a chemical purification process, polysilicon in also produced by the photovoltaic industry.
In 1984 FRIEM developed a comprehensive line of Power Supply for polysilicon production.
The vast knowledge in power electronics for industrial applications and its capability of following the requests of continuous improvement coming from the market, drove FRIEM to develop, in 1984 its first Power Supply for the PolySilicon production.
